Engaging education and quality care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years
Childcare Subsidy
The new Child Care Subsidy (CCS) has replaced the Child Care Rebate (CCR) and Child Care Benefit (CCB) with a single, means-tested subsidy. It is paid directly to providers to be passed on to families. You can find out more here.
Transitioning to this new subsidy however is not an automatic rollover from the two current payments. You must confirm your current details and provide any new information using your online Centrelink account through MyGov. You can learn how to create one here. To receive the full benefits of CCS you will need to complete a Centrelink Child Care Subsidy Assessment.
If you’re not sure how much you can receive, the Department of Education and Training has developed a handy estimator to assist families with working out what they’re entitled to with their new subsidy. You can find out more here.
To find out if you are eligible for the subsidy, we encourage you to contact Centrelink on 13 24 68 or visit the Human Services Australia website. If you are eligible, you will need to obtain a Customer Reference Number (CRN) prior to enrolling with us. If you are already eligible and have a CRN, you will need to provide this to us at the time of enrolment.
For more information regarding our fees, contact us or speak to our Centre Director, Dee.
